Content creators that help the Emma M. Lion community grow
A quick post about all my favourites Lionhearts, and why you should follow them ✨🦁
Dear Lionhearts,
The love I have received for my love letter about the Emma M. Lion books is mind-blowing. I couldn’t be more grateful for the lovely community we are creating. I love reading all your insights and thoughts; you truly make my life better. As it has been made obvious the love we all have for these precious books, I thought I had to deliver to all my subscribers at least one Emma M. Lion related post a month.
I am trying to be balanced, although I would love for all of my posts to be about these books, I well know I could talk about them forever, I also have too many other projects in my head to talk about.
This month’s article about Emma M. Lion will be about other beautiful Lionhearts who help spread the words of our lovely Beth Brower. Thanks to them, The Journals of Emma M. Lion are spreading like wildfire through the world, and I couldn’t be happier.
Obviously, the main content creator of all is Beth Brower. Be sure to follow her on her Substack and Instagram, so you won’t miss any Emma M. Lion news!
So let’s start! I know these beautiful people will only cover a little part of the fandom; however, they are the ones who inspired me and helped me start reading the books. If you have any other content creators we should know about, go and share them in the comments!
Instagram
@emma.m.lion, is the official account of EML by Rhysdon Press. And lately they have been posting a lot! So you can’t miss their account. It’s as if Emma herself had Instagram and was sharing little snippets of her journal with pictures. I love it!
@emmalionandco, are you really an Emma M. Lion fan who has Instagram if you don’t follow this account? She is an unofficial fan account, but she really is like the mother bee of the Lionhearts. She keeps updates, shares similar recommendations, and most importantly, shares memes and very niche jokes about the books. Also, when Beth gives an interview, she usually is there or recollects clips from the interview, so we are all well informed. We love her for her service!
@emmamlion, here I must warn you, this account makes everything with IA. However, if you don’t mind it, you can find here pictures of moments and characters from the book. With the lack of fanart from the books, this helps us imagine how an adaptation from the book could be!
@thestorydork, who is hannah here on Substack, makes the best fanarts of EML you will see. I love her drawings, she is lovely, and has so many more fandoms that she keeps alive (Taylor Swift, The Tortured Poets Department, Sanditon, etc). Go follow her everyone!!
@halliedreaming, you can also find her on Tik Tok. She is the reason why I read the books, so she will always have my inmense gratitude! I love all her content, so whimsical and bookish. Go follow her!!

Rabbit Hole Soul Sisters are amazing! I love all her theories and the way they explain them. They make me seem less crazy with all my plotting and trying to understand Beth’s writing. I wish they would never stop sharing their thoughts and theories! I can’t wait to see if any of them came to be. And while we wait, it’s fun to conjure all of the possible options for the ways Emma’s life is going to surprise us. Here is an article of theirs I really enjoyed:
Alexandra Galaska wrote an amazing review about the books! Her writing is lovely, and the way she writes stories of her life kind of reminds me of Emmas. Here is her review:
If you love EML is probably that you also love Jane Austen. I recently discovered Jane Austen's Niece and found in her a witty incredible voice for a newsletter to read all about Jane Austen. Here’s an article I love about her:

I couldn’t finish this post without talking about the queen of YouTube for Emma M. Lion fans. @jensreadinglife and her readlong of 2025 made me feel understood when I discovered the books this past september. My modus operandi would be finishing one volume and going to watch their livestreams discussions about that volume. They are long, and talk at length about the books. They were the very first thing I consumed when I discovered the books this past september. If you haven’t watch it go! If I ever host a readlong I just hope to be half as incredible as her.
Special mentions of fanart that I loved lately
@nikittysan has made two gorgeous illustrations of Emma. Hoping for her to keep feeding the community!
This is everything for now! Maybe in the future I will make an update. I would really love to know more Emma M. Lion fans who are creating based of Beth Brower work. Be it fanart, writing theories and reviews, or just making memes. I need to know all of you! So go and share your work on this post. I will do my best to make everyone else know it too.
Lots of Love and until next time,
A devoted Lionheart.
